Solar Eclipse Stamps
I can not think of a better subject for my first post: awesome postal stamps.
Yesterday the United States experienced its first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in almost a century. As the Moon passed between the Earth and the Sun, it cast a nearly 70-mile-wide shadow, known as the “path of totality”.
These stamps can cross my path any time. Not only is the design awesome but this stamp offers user experience. This first-of-its-kind U.S. stamp is printed with thermochromic ink that uses heat from your finger to reveal the Moon! Once cooled, the image reverts back to the eclipsed Sun. How cool is that?!
